She has written many articles on colour and trends for magazines in the quilt industry, and was the 2008 recipient of the lifetime achievement Michael Kile Award. eQuilter gives 2% of sales to a variety of international charities, and as of January 2011 the total donated was $850,000. Luana’s presentation will show images from local (Colorado), to national (Houston and Sacred Threads), and international shows (Birmingham and Tokyo). Luana recently gave this same presentation at the Color Marketing Group’s conference in Bangkok last month, where she felt it was great fun to share images of all those gorgeous intricate quilts, with those who truly appreciate colour and design.
