Sneak Peak of River Quilts Display & Raffle Quilts for QQ 2012 Exhibition

The more than 100 quilters who came from far and wide to hear Luana Rubin’s talk on Saturday were also treated to a sneak peak of Queanbeyan Quilters’ River Quilt display. The idea is based around an exhibit of River Quilts at the National Quilt Museum, Paducah, Kentucky, USA.

QQ members were told to create a small quilt with a river flowing side to side using whatever technique, style and inspiration that moved them. This is just a small section of the river. Come see the entire 30+ quilt panel river at the Queanbeyan Quilters’ 2012 Exhibition on the 28th and 29th April.
