March Meeting

Queanbeyan Quilters Inc had a lively meeting last Friday night with lots of business to cover and some superb Show and Tell. With only a week left before we open our Exhibition, everyone is busy binding quilts, selling raffle tickets, preparing the catalogue for print, distributing flyers, filling rosters, designing the show, making labels and all those other bits and pieces which will help to make it a success.

The ladies involved in the Queanbeyan Hospital Auxiliary came to our meeting to be presented with a quilt which will be one of their Mothers Day raffle prizes. Lots of us eagerly bought tickets. If you too want to buy some, come along to the RB Smith Centre on the 5th and 6th April, opposite the Bicentennial Hall, where the tickets will be on sale.

Here is a little Show and Tell to give you a taste for what is going to be at the Exhibition.

This creation is by Moni, using her superb hand dyed fabrics.
