Learn how to make a fractured quilt

Moni Potter has volunteered to show members of Queanbeyan Quilters Inc how to make a fractured quilt. For this exercise, bring along four repeats of any fabric. The only advice is that there be a bit of 'plain' space around the feature. Panels work very well for this. You can find cushion size panels or just cut up some of your fabric to practice on in the demonstration.

It will be held on the second Friday in June, the 13th

This is what Moni put together during the Queanbeyan Quilters retreat at Lake Crackenback.

Below are some samples Moni prepared to show you how you can choose your fabric.
Keep it small so that you can finish it in one evening.

Requirements if you wish to participate: cutting mat, rotary cutter and ruler(s). Working sewing machine and thread and sewing tools. FOUR repeats of a patterned fabric.
