April Meeting on the 2nd May

Queanbeyan Quilters Inc had a lively meeting last night. There was some feedback from our recent exhibition with many suggestions for the next one. Overall, it was very well received and it was enjoyed by all the members. Afterwards, there was lots of lovely fabric on sale from Quintessential Patchwork and a well-stocked supper table.

Block Night at the club will resume on the first Friday in June. It is a chance to try all sorts of different blocks and techniques. The quilt above was put together by Sandra Still, using blocks made by members last year, with various additions. Try your hand at it too; bring along your own collection of fabrics or some black-and-white and lime green fabrics. Remember to have light, dark and medium fabric to help make well-articulated blocks.
