Kathleen was busy stitching. She had brought along a stunning piece of Brussells lace she'd made as taught to her by her grandmother. 

Cassandra planned the quilting on her quilt top.

Kay  was occupied cutting binding for gift quilts for Lousia - the local women's refuge.

and Maia had planned what she would do with some completed blocks she'd excavated (her words).
